Photo Facial / IPL
Our photo facial treatment works by directing well-controlled pulses of light into the upper skin layer. The light is absorbed by two of the body’s own natural chromophores – melanin in the pigmented areas and haemoglobin in the blood. Both these pigments convert the light energy into heat. This heat is used to destroy the parts of the cells in which the melanin is stored, and to damage the walls of the vessels supplying blood to the areas where vascular damage is seen. This technique is called “Selective Photothermolysis”. This is an FDA approved, non-invasive treatment that helps diminish the signs of aging, treat sun damage, Rosacea and vascular imperfections and correct hyper pigmentation, brown spots, age spots, acne, uneven skin tones, melasma, port wine stains, venous lakes, telangiectasias, reticular vessels, fine lines and wrinkles.

Frax Facial
The Frax Facial is a quick and simple treatment that reduces fine lines, pore size and scars, as well as improving overall skin texture. This treatment uses a laser to improve skin quality by heating the lower layer of skin without injuring the skin surface. The heat generated by the laser stimulates collagen production which causes the skin to tighten and look younger and healthier. Non-ablative fractional lasers deliver heat into the skin through thousands of tiny, deep columns known as microthermal zones (MTZ). The fractional treatment allows the skin to heal fast. Spider Veins
Vascular lesions consist of different types, from small telangiectasias (sometimes called spider veins or broken veins) to large Port Wine Stains. Some vascular lesions are present from birth, while others develop with age, or as the result of environmental damage (such as sun exposure). Regardless of the size of the lesion, they can cause psychological trauma so strong that patients seek professional help to remove them. Historically they have been covered with make-up, while surgery has been limited to the larger vessels on the legs. With the use of our laser system we can treat even the most difficult vascular lesion successfully and with high comfort for our clients. The vessel supplying the lesion with blood is targeted and destroyed. Over time the vascular lesion disappears, restoring the skin’s natural appearance. Nd:YAG technology is a much more effective option for the treatment of leg veins. The built-in SoftCoolTM ensures a near pain-free treatment of leg vessels. Nd:YAG is also a safer alternative than IPL or SWT® for leg veins. SWT® is good for treatment of very superficial small vessels or matting after sclerotherapy. Note that lasers or light can first be used 1 month post sclerotherapy.
