Meet Andria

Andria is an APRN, CNP, and has devoted more than 20 years to unparalleled high standards in patient care in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.  She is a former burn-trauma nurse of 10 years who spent days off working in emergency departments.  Following grad school in 2010, Andria joined Mayo Clinic as a Nurse Practitioner hospitalist for the Department of Plastic Surgery.  She joined the American Red Cross in 2017 as their first employed Nurse Practitioner where she built-out a patented Peri-Operative Anemia management program to reduce unnecessary blood transfusions for controlled surgical procedures.  Meanwhile, Slow Coast Spa grew organically by word-of-mouth and now has thousands of ridiculously awesome clients that Andria treats like family.

Andria has traveled to Central and South America, Vietnam, Thailand, and East Africa numerous times providing medical and surgical support for organizations such as Medical Outreach of America, Flying Doctors of America, and Knock Foundation.

Raised on the northern coast of California, Andria’s love for the outdoors is her signature trait. An avid water girl and backpacker she has traveled to many remote nooks in the world. Including the Himalayans in Nepal, Andes Mountain range in Peru, and the glaciers at the peak of Mt Kilimanjaro, Africa. To the remote Rock Islands of Palau, the deep waters of the Virgin Islands, Costa Rica and Honduras (Roatan). She has surfed endless sunrises and sunsets in Hawaii and was granted a true sense of discovery during her three month stay on Molokai Island (where she spear fished for food, slept on the beach, and lived on two changes of clothes). She embraces life with deep gratitude for the gift of “today.”

Andria chose the name Slow Coast Spa as a nod to a quiet 50 mile stretch of the Pacific Coast line where mountains meet ocean and time stands still. Crickets are the curfew, stars outshine street lights, main roads are peppered with abundant fruit and vegetable stands, waves are survived only by the talented, the salty breeze coats sun kissed skin, and the sunset hugs this expansive edge of forever.

Andria is married with three young kiddos, a red Lab, and a funny looking cat. Together, they enjoy their country life in the outskirts of Rochester, Minnesota.

Andria maintains a high level of integrity and interest in ensuring her clients are well taken care of and satisfied with their outcomes. Her warm and welcoming personality, combined with her meticulous nature, distinguishes her as a talented Nurse Practitioner.
